Hotel Saratz

Since 1865, Hotel Saratz is privately owned by the family Saratz and still one of Switzerlands most unusual and special hotels in Upper Engadine. It is surrounded by 35.000 sqm private park offering stunning views across the mountains and the glacier. A total of app. 50 million CHF have been invested since 1990 to continously renovate the hotel and maintain its unique atmosphere.

Well known interior designers such as Pia Schmid from Zurich and Hans-Jörg Ruch from St. Moritz have left their mark in designing this hotel lady. Most recently, a spectacular Hamam (Sarazenenbad) has been created in the historic vaults. Since sommer 2008, the Hotel Saratz is being heated by geothermal energy.
